TechnipFMC adopt Pisys Permit to work system worldwide

Pisys are extremely proud to be supporting TechnipFMC in its use of the electronic permit to work system across multiple offshore and onshore projects worldwide.

TechnipFMC engaged Pisys in 2019 to provide their cloud-based Electronic Permit to Work System (PTW)  across our worldwide vessel fleet and two onshore sites. The accurate and timely creation and management of permits is critical to the smooth operation of projects we're involved in worldwide.

The Pisys permit to work system replaces traditional paper based or excel-based permit systems with a powerful centrally managed application which allows permits to be processed many times faster than with a traditional system. The system also allows contractor access, with certification checks and rating, management of isolations and comprehensive plot plans to show the location and status of permits. A powerful dashboard allows visibility of all permit data and KPI's, and since all data is centrally managed, all stakeholders have a real-time view of the status of all permits.

The most recent addition to the permit to work system is a task risk manager which allows task risk assessments to be completed and associated with permits for later reference. The system is part of the Pisys360 suite of HSE solutions which includes action tracking, near-miss management, emergency response training simulation and risk management in addition to the permit to work system.
