Will Schmitt is a reporter at the Financial Times focusing on asset management and exchange traded funds. Before joining the FT in 2023, he covered asset management for Citywire in New York City. Prior to that, he worked for the Santa Rosa Press Democrat in northern California, reporting on local government, and he was the state politics and government correspondent for the Springfield News-Leader in southwest Missouri.
